కథ: అనగనగా ఒక రాజు. ఆ రాజుకు ఏడుగురు కొడుకులు. ఏడుగురు కొడుకులు వేటకు వెళ్ళారు.

ఏడు చేపలు తెచ్చారు. ఏడు చేపల్ని ఎండ పెట్టారు. అందులో ఒకచేప ఎండలేదు. చేప చేప ఎందుకు ఎండలేదు. గడ్డిమేటు అడ్డమొచ్చింది. గడ్డిమేటా, ఎందుకు అడ్డమొచ్చావ్. ఆవు మెయ్యలేదు. ఆవా ఎందుకు మెయ్యలేదు, కాపరి మేపలేదు. కాపరీ ఎందుకు మేపలేదు, అమ్మ అన్నం పెట్టలేదు. అమ్మా ఎందుకు అన్నంపెట్టలేదు, పిల్లవాడు ఏడిచాడు. పిల్లవాడా, ఎందుకు ఏడిచావు. చీమ కుట్టింది. చీమా ఎందుకు కుట్టావ్, నా బంగారు పుట్టలో వేలుపెడితే కుట్టానా అన్నది.

రాజుగారు అంటే మనిషి. ఏడుగురు కొడుకులు అంటే మనలోని సప్త థాతువులు. వేటకు వెళ్ళటము అంటే జీవనము సాగించటము. జీవితము అనే వేట. 7 చేపలు అనగా మనల్ని పీడించే సప్త వ్యసనాలు (కామము, వేట, జూదము, మద్యపానము, వాక్పారుష్యము (కఠినంగా, పరుషంగా మాట్లాడటం), దండపారుష్యము (కఠినముగా దండించుట), అర్థదూషణము (థనమును దు బారాగా ఖర్చుచేయుట). ఎండగట్టాటానికి వీలైనది కనుక చేప అని చెప్పారు. ఎండపెట్టము అంటే వ్యసనాల్ని జయించుట. సాథన చేసి మనిషి తనలోని వ్యసనాలను జయించవచ్చు. ఒకచేప ఎండలేదు. అంటే సప్తవ్యసనాలలో ఒక్క కామాన్ని తప్ప మిగిలిన వాటిని జయించవచ్చును అని చెప్పుటకు ఒక చేప ఎండలేదు అన్నారు. కామాన్ని జయించము చాలా కష్టము. అది ఎప్పటికి ఎండదు. ఇక్కడ కామము అంటే కోరిక. అది ఎలాంటి కోరిక అయినా కావచ్చును. మోక్షాన్ని పొందాలన్నది చాలా ఉత్కృష్టమైనది. అయిననూ అదికూడా కొరికే కనుక కామాన్ని జయించుట కుదరని పని. కోరిక ఎండితే కానీ మోక్షము రాదు. కోరిక లేక బంధము తోలగుటయే కదా మోక్షము. చేప ఎండక పోవటానికి కారణము గడ్డిమేటు. గడ్డిమేటు అజ్ఞానానికి ప్రతీక. మన అజ్ఞానము ఎంత అంటే గడ్డి మేటంత. ఎన్ని గడ్డిపరకలు లాగినా గడ్డిమేటు తరగదు. అలాగే అజ్ఞానము తరగదు. ఎన్ని విన్నా, ఎంత తెలిసినా అజ్ఞానము పీడిస్తూనే ఉంటుంది. చెప్పలేనంత అజ్ఞా నము అని చెప్పుటకు గడ్డిమేటును చెప్పారు. సమస్త జ్ఞానము కలిగినా అహంకారము (నేనున్నా నన్న భావన) తొలగుట కష్టము.

కనుక అజ్ఞానమును గడ్డిమేటుతో పోల్చినారు. గడ్డిమేటు అడ్డుతగలటానికి కారణము ఆవు మేయక పోవటము. వేదములలో ఆవును జ్ఞానమునకు ప్రతీకగా చెప్పారు. ఇక్కడ ఆవు అనగా జ్ఞానము. జ్ఞానము కలిగినచో అజ్ఞా నము తొలగును. ఆవులచే మేయబడినా, అగ్నిచే దగ్దము చేయబడినా గడ్డిమేటు తొలగింపబడుతుంది. "జ్ఞానగ్ని దగ్ధ కర్మాణం" అని భగవద్గీత చెప్పుచున్నది. జ్ఞానమనే అగ్ని చేత మాత్రమే అజ్ఞానము తొలగింపబడు తుంది. ఆవు ఎందుకు మేయలేదు అంటే కాపరి మేపలేదు. కాపరి అనగా సద్గురువు. సద్గురువుచే జ్ఞానము బోధింపబడలేదు కనుగ అజ్ఞానము తొలగలేదు అని అర్థము. సద్గురువు ద్వారానే జ్ఞానము అందింపబడాలి. అప్పుడు మాత్రమే అజ్ఞానము తొలగింపబడి జ్ఞానము కలుగుతుంది. "కృష్ణం వందే జగద్గురుం". జగద్గురువు శ్రీకృష్ణుడే. కాపరి ఎందుకు మేపలేదు అంటే అమ్మ అన్నం పెట్టలేదు. అమ్మ ఇచ్చిన అన్నం తిని, తీసుకొని వెళ్ళి ఆవులను మేపటం అన్నది గోవులు మేపే వాళ్ళ నిత్యకృత్యం. అంటే జగన్మాతచే సద్గురువు పంపబడలేదు అని అర్థము. జగన్మాత ఆజ్ఞలేనిదే సద్గురువును దర్శించుటకాని, ఉపదేశము పొందుటకాని జరుగదు అని తెలుసుకొనవలెను. ఇంకా జ్ఞానమును పొందే సమయము రాలేదు అని అర్థము. దైవానుగ్రహము కలుగలేదు అని అర్థము. అమ్మ ఎందుకు అన్నం పెట్టలేదు అంటే పిల్లవాడు ఏడ్చాడు. పిల్లవాడు ఏడవటం అంటే జగన్మాత అనుగ్రహము కోసము ఆర్తితో పరితపించటము. అటువంటి వారికి తల్లి మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తుంది. అవసరము కోసము ఏడవటము వేరు, అనుగ్రహము కోసము పరితపించటము వేరు. జగత్తంతటికి తల్లి కనుక జ్ఞానము కావాలి అని పరితపించే వారికన్నా, దైవమే కావాలి అని పరితపించేవారిని మొదట అనుగ్రహిస్తుంది జగన్మాత. అంటే అమ్మ ఆజ్ఞ అవలేదు అని అర్థము. పిల్లవాడు ఎందుకు ఏడ్చాడు అంటే చీమ కుట్టింది. చీమ అంటే సంసారము. సంసారము అంటే కుటుంబము ఒక్కటే కాదు. మనల్ని అంటుకొని ఉన్న సమస్త భావములు కూడా సంసారమే. సంసార, ఈతి భాధలచే దుఃఖము చెంది దైవము కొరకు పరి తపిం చటమే చీమ కుట్టి ఏడవటము. చీమ కుట్టటానికి కారణము తన బంగారు పుట్టలో వేలు పెట్టుట వలన కుట్టింది. నిజమునకు చీమల పుట్టలన్నీ కూడా మట్టి పుట్టలే. కానీ సంసారము లేకుండా ఎలా అన్న అజ్ఞానంలో కావాలని దాని ఎడల అనురక్తి కలగటమే బంగారు పుట్ట. చివరకు అనురక్తి తొలగి సంసార బాథలనుండి తనను రక్షింపమని దైవము కొరకు జీవుడు పరిత పించును. కథ సారాంశము: సప్తథాతువులతో కూడిన మనిషి సాథన చేసి సప్త వ్యసనములలో 6 వ్యసనములు జయించి ననూ 7వది అయిన కామముకు జయించుట కష్టము. అజ్ఞానము తొలగనిదే కామము జయింపబడదు. జ్ఞానము కలిగినచో అజ్ఞానము తొలగును. జ్ఞానమును ఒక్క సద్గురువు మాత్రమే అందిపగలడు. అట్టి సద్గురువు జీవితమున దైవానుగ్రహమున మాత్రమే లభించగలడు. సంసారమున చిక్కి బాథపడుతున్న జీవుడు దైవము కొరకు పరితపించి, ఆర్తితో తపన చెందుతున్న ప్పుడు మాత్రమే దైవా నుగ్రహమునకు పాత్రుడు కాగలడు. దైవముచేత పంపబడినవాడే సద్గురువు. అతడు జ్ఞానమును అందించి అజ్ఞానమును తొలగించి జీవుని ఉద్దరించి దైవమును చేర్చును. కనుక సద్గురువు యొక్క ఆవశ్యకత జీవితమున ఎంతైనా ఉన్నది.

It is said that it is a fish because it is possible to dry up. Dry up means conquering the addictions. A man can conquer his addictions by practicing. Not a fish is sunny. That means one fish is not dry to say that except one lust can be conquered in the seven years. It is very difficult to conquer lust. It will never get sunny. Here lust means desire. it can be any kind of desire. It's the best to get salvation. It is not possible to conquer the lust because it is for that too. If the desire is dried up, there will not be salvation. Relationship without desire will be lost right salvation. The reason for the fish not drying is grass. Grass is the symbol of ignorance. Our ignorance is as much as the grass is. No matter how many grass you pull, the grass will not be removed. And also ignorance will not fade away. Ignorance will keep on torturing how much ever you hear or know. They told the grass to say that we are ignorance that we can't say. It is difficult to get rid of pride (I am and my feeling) even if you have all knowledge.

So the ignorance is compared to the grass. The reason for the prevention of grass is because of the cow's herd. In the Vedas, the cow is a symbol of knowledge. Here cow means knowledge. If we have knowledge, we will get rid of ignorance. Even if it is pastured by cows or burned by fire, the grass will be removed. Bhagavadgeetha says "Jnanagni Dagdha Karmaanam" Ignorance is removed only by the fire of knowledge. Why the cow is not feeding means the shepherd is not feeding. Shepherd means Sadhguru. The knowledge of Sadhguru is not taught, so it means that ignorance is not removed. Knowledge should be given through Sadhguru. Why did the kid cry means ant stitched. Ant is a family. Family is not the same as family. All the feelings that are holding us are also family. We are crying for the God who is suffering from the family and the pain of this world. The reason for an ant stitching was stitched by putting finger in her golden bowl. In reality, all the ants are born of mud. But without family, how to be in the ignorance of the brother, it is a golden putta. In the end, the life will pray for the God to remove the affection and save him from the pains of the family. If you have knowledge, ignorance will go away. Knowledge can only be given by a good teacher. Such a Sadhguru can only be found in God's grace in life.
