ఆదివారం నాడు ఏం చేయకూడదో చెప్పిన వేదాల లోని శ్లోకం

అమిషం మధుపానం చ యః కరోతి రవేర్దినే | 

సప్తజన్మ భవేద్రోగీ జన్మ జన్మ దరిద్రతా ||

స్త్రీ తైల మధుమాంసాని యే త్యజంతి రవేర్దినే |

న వ్యాధి శోక దారిద్ర్యం , సూర్యలోకం స గచ్చతి ||

తాత్పర్యం: 

మాంసం తినడం, 

మద్యం తాగడం, 

స్త్రీతో సాంగత్యం, 

తలకు నూనె పెట్టుకోవడం ఇలాంటివి ఆదివారం నాడు  నిషేధించిన కర్మలు. ఇలా చేసినవాడు  జన్మ జన్మలకు దరిద్రుడు అవుతాడు అని నొక్కి వక్కాణించెయి దారిద్ర్యం అంటే డబ్బు లేకపోవడం ఒక్కటే కాదు ఆనారోగ్యం కూడా.

అలాంటి పవిత్రమైన రోజు తాగుబోతుల కి తిండిపోతులకి ఇష్టమైన రోజు అయింది.

మన సనాతన ధర్మంలో పురాణ ఇతిహాసాల్లో ఏ రోజుకి ఇవ్వని ప్రాధాన్యత ఆదివారానికి ఇచ్చారు.

ఎందుకంటే అనాదిగా మన వాళ్ళందరూ సూర్యోపాసకులు సూర్యుణ్ని ఆరాధించే సంస్కృతి మన భారతీయ హైందవ సంస్కృతి అందుకే మనకొచ్చే ముఖ్యమైన పండుగలన్నీ కూడా సౌరమానం అంటే సూర్యుని ఆధారంగానే వస్తాయి.

ప్రాతః కాలంలో నిద్రలేచి సూర్య నమస్కారాలు, సంధ్యావందనాలు లాంటి హిందుకర్మలు సూర్యుణ్ని ఆరాధించే పద్దతిలో ముఖ్యమైనవి.

ఇలాంటి ఆదివారం మనకి చాలా పవిత్రమైన రోజు అలాంటి ఆదివారాన్ని వీకెండ్ పేరుతో ఆదివారం సెలవు అనే పేరుతో అపవిత్రపాలు చేశారు.

మనది భిన్నత్వంలో ఏకత్వం అనే సంస్కృతి అందరికీ తెలుసు ఎన్ని ఆచారాలు సంస్కృతులు భిన్నంగా ఉన్న మన అందరిది హిందూ ధర్మమే అనే ఏకత్వన్నీ తెలిపేది మన హైందవ సంస్కృతి.
