కోదండ రామాలయం, గొల్ల మామిడాడ, తూర్పుగోదావరి జిల్లాలో ఉంది.  ఈ కోదండ రామాలయం ఆకాశాన్ని తాకుతున్నట్టుగా ఉంటుంది 9 అంతస్తులతో, గోపురం ప్రతీ అంతస్తు నుంచీ చెక్కిన పురాణ గాధలను చూడవచ్చు.

రామాయణ భారత భాగవత ఘట్టాలు కళ్ళకి కట్టినట్లు మలిచారు. రామాలయానికి రెండు గోపురాలున్నాయి. పెద్ద గోపురంలో పదమూడు అంతస్తులున్నూ, చిన్నగోపురం ఎనిమిది అంతస్తుల ఎత్తూ ఉన్నాయి.

తూర్పు దిక్కున గోపురం 200 అడుగుల ఎత్తు కలిగి గోపురం చివరి అంతస్తు ఎక్కితే 25 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో ఉన్న పెద్దాపురం లో ఉన్న పాండవుల మెట్ట కనబడుతుంది.

20 కిలోమీటర్ల లో ఉన్న కాకినాడ కనబడుతుంది. గోపురాలకు తోడు రామాలయంలో అద్దాల మందిరం మరొక ఆకర్షణ. మొదటి అంతస్తులో రామ పట్టాభిషేక అనంతరం తనకు రావణవధ కై సహాయ పడిన వానర వీరులగు సుగ్రీవాదులకు సత్కారము చేయు సమయమున ఆంజనేయునకు రత్నాల హారమును బహూకరించగా, అందులోని రత్నములలో రామ నామమును ఆంజనేయుడు వెతుకు కొను ఘట్టమును శిల్పులు చిత్రకరించిన దృశ్యమును, అద్దాల మేడలో అతి రమ్యముగా పొందు పరచారు. గాజు అరలలో అమర్చిన సీతారామ విగ్రహాలు, సింహాసనము మొదలగు వానిని అద్దముల ద్వార చూచినచో ఊయల ఊగు చున్నట్లుగాను, సీత రాములు సింహాసనములో కుర్చున్నట్లుగాను చూపరులకు అనిపించును. ఇదే ఆ అద్దముల అమరిక ప్రత్యేకాకర్షణ. శ్రీరామనవమి, రథసప్తమిల సందర్భంగా మామిడాడలో సంవత్సరానికి రెండు సార్లు తిరునాళ్ళు జరుగుతాయి. భద్రాచలం తరువాత అంతటి వైభవంగా శ్రీరామ నవమి ఉత్సవాలు మామిడాడలోనే జరుగుతాయని ప్రతీతి.

భద్రాచలం లో లాగానే ఇక్కడ కూడా రాములవారి కల్యాణం ప్రభుత్వ లాంచనాలతో ఘనంగా ముత్యాల తలబ్రాలు పట్టుపీతాంబరాలతో జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ సమర్పిస్తారు.

ఈ కోదండ రామాలయం చూడటం ఒక మధురానుభూతి.

Located at a distance of 20 Km from Kakinada, 58 Km from Rajahmundry and 65 Km from Amalapuram (Via Kotipalli), in the midst of coconut gardens, the green fields and natural surroundings, and on the banks of river "Thulya Bhaga" (Antharvahini) is a well known pilgrim centre known as G. Mamidada (Gollala Mamidada) which is also called as Gopurala Mamidada, famous for Sri Suryanarayana Swamy Temple. It is the second famous temple after Arasavilli(in Srikakulam). This temple was incepted by the Late Sri Kovvuri Basivi Reddy in the year 1920, who was the Jamindar of Gollalamamidada and great a philanthropist.

Archanas are performed daily in accordance with Saivagama( holy scriptures). Abhishekams are done regularly according to Shastras. The rituals are performed in accordance with Sri Vyshanava Sampradaya. This temple has gained much importance in Andhra Pradesh as the tenets are of Vyshanava Sampradaya. It has been attracting a good number of pilgrims on all days and especially on Sundays to pray to Lord Sri Suryanarayana Swamy.

Apart from this temple, there are many other temples like Venkateswara Temple, Sainatha Temple and also the ancient and the famous Bheemeswara Temple and Sri

Rama Temple.

Radha Sapthami on Maga Sudda Sapthami (February Month), and Bhishma Ekadasi in the month of February every year are the festivals celebrated every year in this temple.
