ఇష్టదైవం, సూర్యుడు, బంగారం, సముద్రం, తన ప్రతిబింబం, వయో వృద్ధులు, పుణ్య స్త్రీలు, దూడతో ఉన్న ఆవు,మంగళ తోరణాలు, పసుపు బట్టలు, తులసి మొక్కలు. ఇటువంటివి చూస్తే ఆ రోజంతా శుభ ప్రదంగా ఉంటుంది.


What see after we wake up:

Look at your hands
It is said that our hands house the goddess Laxmi, Saraswati and Lord Vishnu, so having a look at it first thing in the morning makes sure that the blessings of all these gods is bestowed upon you.

Drink water
Drinking a glass of water after getting up gets your system running --- most of us go without water for the whole night so hydrating your system first thing in the morning is the best thing to do.

Make the bed
Never, ever leave the house with the bed in a mess. It is considered to be poor vastu and it physically disperses off all your good energies --- making your bed gets all your energies in one place back together.

Stretch
Stretching first thing in the morning gets your muscles moving which are probably quite cramped up after a night's rest. Make sure to do some light stretches only, not hard ones.

Offering water to Sun God
One should also offer water to the Sun God first thing in the morning. This fills our body with energy required to carry on through the day and also helps us stay positive.

Gayatri mantra
One should also chant the Gayatri mantra as soon as they get up --- you need not go to a temple for this too --- you can do that while still in bed. Doing so purges you of all your sins.

Thank God
Every morning, start your day with a small thank you prayer dedicated to God. It could be something simple as, thank god for a sunny day today or thank god for a hearty breakfast today. This is likely to make you more happy and positive throughout the day.

Don't hit snooze
Hitting the snooze button again and again can make you tired and irritated, so switch off that morning alarm once and for all. To avoid laziness, just leave the bed as soon the alarm goes off.

Leave your phone
Ideally, you should not sleep with your phone close to you, but if you do use it for your morning alarm, don't check it the first thing in the morning. All important calls and emails can wait till you are up and about.
