హనుమాన్ జయంతి విశేషాలు
మన హిందూ సంస్కృతి ప్రకారం మనం జరుపుకునే పండుగల్లో హనుమాన్ జయంతి ముఖ్యమైంది. హనుమాన్ జయంతి సందర్భంగా భక్తులు ఎంతో శ్రద్ధగా హనుమాన్ చాలీసా పఠిస్తారు. ఆలయాల్లో ప్రత్యేక పూజలు, హారతులు, అభిషేకాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఈ పర్వదినం సందర్భంగా అనేక దేవాలయాల్లో అన్నదానాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఆంజనేయస్వామి ధైర్యానికి ప్రతీక. శక్తిసామర్ధ్యాలకు ప్రతిరూపం. ఈయన రాముడికి పరమ భక్తుడు. ఎంతటి వాడంటే ఆయన కోసం ఏకంగా సముద్రాన్నే లంకకు చేరుకున్నాడు. ఆకాశమార్గంలో పయనించి సీతమ్మవారి జాడ కనిపెట్టాడు. సంజీవనీ పర్వతాన్ని సైతం పెకిలించి తీసుకొచ్చాడు వీరహనుమాన్. హనుమాన్ జయంతి సందర్భంగా పంచముఖ హనుమాన్, పాదరస హనుమాన్ తదితర విగ్రహాలకు ప్రత్యేక పూజలు చేస్తారు. ఈ జయంతినాడు ఉపవాసం వుండడం మంచిదంటారు పూజారులు.
సంవత్సరానికి మూడుసార్లు హనుమాన్ జయంతి:
ఒక్కో ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన వారు ఒక్కొక్క మాసంలో హనుమాన్ జయంతిని నిర్వహించుకుంటారు. ఈ లెక్కన హనుమాన్ జయంతి ఏడాదిలో మూడుసార్లు వస్తుంది. కొందరు చైత్ర పౌర్ణమినాడు హనుమాన్ జయంతి చేయగా, మరికొందరు వైశాఖమాసం దశమినాడు జరుపుతారు. ఇక తమిళనాడు, కేరళ వంటి రాష్ట్రాల్లో మార్గశిర మాసంలో హనుమాన్ జయంతి జరుపుకుంటారు.
హనుమంతుడి బలం, భక్తి:
హనుమంతుడు అంతులేని పరాక్రమశాలి అయ్యుండీ కూడా రాముడి సేవలో గడపడానికే ఎక్కువ ప్రాధాన్యత ఇచ్చాడు. ఆంజనేయునికి శ్రీరాముడంటే ఎంత భక్తిప్రపత్తులు అంటే, తన మనసునే మందిరంగా చేసి ఆరాధించాడు. హనుమంతుడు గుండె చీల్చి చూపగా సీతారాములే దర్శనం ఇచ్చారు. ఒకసారి సీతమ్మ తన నుదుటన సింధూరం పెట్టుకోవడం చూసిన హనుమంతుడు. ‘‘నుదుట సింధూరం ఎందుకు పెట్టుకుంటున్నావమ్మా?’’ అని అడిగాడు. అప్పుడు సీతమ్మ తల్లి నవ్వుతూ "శ్రీరాముడు దీర్ఘాయుష్కుడిగా ఉండడానికి’’ అని అంటుంది. అంతే, ఆ మరుక్షణమే ఏమీ ఆలోచించకుండా హనుమంతుడు తన ఒళ్ళంతా సింధూరం పూసుకున్నాడు. అదీ రాముడి మీద హనుమంతుడికి వున్న నిరూపమైన భక్తి.
ఇంకో సందర్భంలో సీతమ్మ హనుమంతునికి రత్నాభరణాన్ని బహూకరించింది. కానీ హనుమంతుడు ఆ భరణంలో వున్న ఒక్కో పూసనూ కొరికి చూసి, విసిరేయసాగాడు.
అదేమిటని సీతమ్మ అడగ్గా ''రామయ్య తండ్రి ఈ పూసలలో కనిపిస్తాడేమోనని ఆశగా చూశాను. నా స్వామిలేని రత్నాలు, స్వర్ణాలతో నాకేం పని?” అని సమధానం ఇచ్చాడు.
రావణాసురుడు సీతమ్మను అపహరించుకుపోగా, ఆమెను అన్వేషించడానికి బయల్దేరాడు హనుమంతుడు. అనేకచోట్ల అన్వేషించి చివరకు సీతమ్మ జాడను తెలుసుకున్నాడు.
అశోకవనంలో శోకమూర్తిలా కూర్చుని, ఆత్మత్యాగం చేయాలనుకుంటున్న సీతమ్మకు శ్రీరాముని అంగుళీయకం చూపి, ధైర్యంగా ఉండమని వచనాలు పలికాడు. లంకను నాశనం చేయడంలో తనవంతు సహాయాన్ని అందించాడు హనుమంతుడు.
Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Hanuman who is also considered to be one of the incarnations of Lord Shiva. It is celebrated on purnima (full moon day) during the Chaitra month of the Hindu calendar.
According to Hindu mythology, Hanuman’s father is Kesari and mother Anjani. He was born to the couple after years of penance. Hanuman is known for having mastered the four Vedas and is considered to be a wise and powerful Hindu god.
Lord Hanuman is called by different names by his followers such as bajrangbali, sankatmochan, dukhbhanjan, maruti Mandan and Anjaneya.
On the day of Hanuman Jayanti, people wake up early, take bath and worship Lord Hanuman. They perform puja by reading Hanuman Chalisa and singing devotional songs. People offer sweets, flowers, food to Lord Hanuman.
While Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated in the Chaitra month in most Indian states, in Kerala and Tamil Nadu it is observed between December and January.
According to Hindu beliefs, Lord Hanuman is the symbol of energy and strength, and people worship him to ward off all evils.
It is believed that Lord Hanuman, also known as Maruti, Pawanputra, Kesari Nandan and Bajrang Bali, was born on this day.
Hanuman Jayanti is observed during the month of Chaitra on full moon day, which usually falls in the month of April.
On this day, devotees perform puja by taking a holy dip.
As per beliefs, devotees offer vermilion or red cloth and flowers like marigold and rose to him. Then they read the “Hanuman Chalisa”.
Laddu, halwa, banana is being offered as prasad.
