కుబేరుడు అనుగ్రహం కోసం

పూజించే విధానాన్ని ఉపచారం అంటారు.
ఇంట్లో దేవుడికి పూజ చేసే విధానాలని పంచోపచారాలు అంటారు.
అంటే ఐదు విధానాల ద్వారా దేవతానుగ్రహం పొందటం అనమాట.

1. దేవుడి పటాలకి పసుపు, కుంకుమ, చందనం వంటివి పెట్టడం,
2. దేవుడి పేరు చెప్పి, పూవులతో అర్చన చేయడం,
3. ఇంటిని శుభ్రం చేసి సాంబ్రాణి, అగరత్తులు వెలిగించడం,
4. నేతితో దీపం వెలిగించి దీపారాధన చేయడం,
5. నైవేద్యాన్ని ప్రసాదంగా సమర్పించడం.

ఈ ఐదింటిలో ఏదైనా ఒకటినైనా రోజూ పాటించాలని ఆధ్యాత్మిక పండితులు సూచిస్తున్నారు. రోజూ పంచోపచారాల్లో ఏదైనా ఒక్కదాన్నైనా పాటిస్తే దేవతానుగ్రహాన్ని పొందవచ్చు. ఇంకా ధనప్రాప్తి కోసం ఇంట్లోని కామాక్షి దీపంలో వజ్రపు రాయిని పొదిగిస్తే, లక్ష్మీ కటాక్షం పొందవచ్చు.

ధనాధిపతి కుబేరుని అనుగ్రహం పొందాలంటే? ఇంట్లో మీకు నచ్చిన ఊరగాయలను తయారుచేసి పెట్టుకోండి అంటున్నారు ఆధ్యాత్మిక పండితులు. ఇదేంటి? నిజమా? అని అడుగుతున్నారు కదూ నిజమే. మీ ఇంట ఆవకాయ, నిమ్మకాయ ఊరగాయలతో పాటు మీకు నచ్చిన ఊరగాయలను తయారు చేసి పెట్టుకోండి.

కుబేరుడు ఊరగాయ ప్రియుడు. అందుచేతనే ఇంట్లో ఊరగాయ ఉండటం ద్వారా కుబేరుని అనుగ్రహం పొందవచ్చును. ఇంకా ఇంటికొచ్చే సుమంగళీ మహిళలకు నీరు ఇవ్వాలి. ఆపై పసుపు, కుంకుమలు ఇవ్వడం చేయాలి. ఇలా చేస్తే జన్మజన్మల పాపం, దారిద్ర్యం తీరిపోయి ధనాభివృద్ధి చేకూరుతుంది. అలాగే అమావాస్య రోజున ఇంటి ముందు రంగవల్లికలు, ముగ్గులు ఉండకూడదు. తలంటుస్నానం చేయకూడదు. ఆ రోజున పితృదేవతలను పూజిస్తే సకలసంపదలు చేకూరుతాయని ఆధ్యాత్మిక పండితులు అంటున్నారు.

అలాగే మహాలక్ష్మీ దేవి సంపదకు అధిపతి. కుబేరుడు సంపదను సంరక్షిస్తాడు. అందుకే కుబేరుని పటంతో కూడిన లక్ష్మీ పటాన్ని ఇంట్లో ఉంచి పూజించాలి. వ్యాపారంలో లాభం పెరగాలంటే కుబేరునికి పాలాభిషేకం చేయించి ఎరుపు రంగు పుష్పాలతో అర్చన చేయించాలి. తమిళనాడులోని తిరువణ్ణామలై ఆలయ గిరి ప్రదక్షణ సమయంలో కుబేర లింగాన్ని తప్పకుండా దర్శించుకుంటే ధనానికి లోటుండదు. ఉత్తర దిశకు కుబేరుడు అధిపతి. అలాగే గురువారం రోజున కుబేరుడిని పూజిస్తే సకలసంపదలను పొందవచ్చునని పండితులు చెప్తున్నారు.

Thus, people want to earn more in order to be the talk of the town. Apart from this, being wealthier means living life king size. Therefore, people today worship Kubera. The God of Wealth to be a rich person.

Let us have an understanding of who Kubera was and how the world knows him as the God of Wealth.

This is a century old tale when there was a common man named Kubera. He worshiped Lord Shiva - the creator of this universe. Being impressed by rigorous prayers of this common man Lord Shiva decided to meet Kubera. So, he appeared in front of this common man and granted him the guardianship of world's entire wealth. The Kubera was immensely happy andhe became greedy. Also he forgot that he is only the caretaker and not the owner of this entire wealth.

This change in the Kubera's attitude made Lord Shiva angry. Thus, the creator of this universe decided to teach Kubera a lesson. Therefore, he sent Lord Ganesha his son to the feast that Kubera arranged for all Gods. Surprisingly, Lord Ganesha was the first one to be at the feast and ate all the food Kubera prepared for the event. That was not all. The Lord Ganesha was so hungry that he was even ready to eat Kubera himself to full his stomach.

This is when Lord Shiva appeared at the scene and made Kubera realize his mistake. After which Kubera understood his mistake and apologize for his behavior. All this made Kubera understand that we should not misuse the power and promised Lord Shiva of not doing this again.

This self-realization of wrongdoing made him known as the Kubera. The Wealth of God. Thus, people offer prayers to please him and to earn wealth in life.
